As a Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist Senior Operations Manager , you will oversee a team of front-end pharmacists and technicians in the Oncology Therapeutic Resource Center focused on providing optimal care to Oncology patients at Accredo.
What you’ll do:
Provide leadership to the Oncology front end pharmacy department
Work closely with the Oncology Patient Access and Contact Center leaders to meet key business metrics and client performance guarantees
Engage as needed with Product, Physician Engagement, Account Management, Service Delivery, Corporate Finance or other cross functional teams to ensure client satisfaction and shipment of orders
Address staff concerns and day to day operational, system, customer service, quality, and professional issues
Manage financial budgets and labor forecasts under guidance of the Director of Operations
Set clear performance expectations with staff, including adherence to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
Represents the Oncology TRC in cross-functional meetings and projects. Prepare for, implement and communicate new corporate initiatives and processes within the pharmacy.
May facilitate tours for client visits
What you’ll need:
RPh. or Pharm D required, degree in management or finance or equivalent is an asset
Four to six years of experience supervising in a pharmacy
An advanced understanding of specialty pharmacy, pharmacy regulations, insurance benefits, and internal processes in order to successfully fulfill expectations of Payers, Pharma, Physicians and Patients is preferred
Strong computer skills including Outlook and MCS office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong experience with RxHome preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to effectively develop, assist, train and coach
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
