This appointment is in the Purdue Polytechnic School of Aviation and Transportation Technology.DESCRIPTION: Job duties include: (I) Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Avionics/system integration curriculum; (2) Collaborate with other academic units at Purdue, and other organizations externally, to conduct externally-funded applied research (3) Serve on graduate committees; (4) Perform faculty assignments and student mentoring; (5) Demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and transformational education.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in electrical engineering or related field at time of hire. Applicants must possess experience in the avionics/system integration discipline. Candidates must provide a history of academic teaching, curriculum development, scholarly publications, or conference presentations.GENERAL INFORMATION: Purdue University is a land-grant university dedicated to learning, discovery, and engagement.
