Requires individual to be knowledgeable in current fashion and pricing. Facilitates collection, sorting, and pricing of goods for presentation and sale at events which will need a boutique or pop up sale. Supervises the smooth operation of fast-paced sales in an event environment and presents a positive image of Goodwill to the community. Position reports to District Managers.
Essential Job Functions:
Communicates with stores the need for specific goods based on event.
Collects, hangs, sorts, prices, and sizes goods for an event.
Able to identify high quality merchandise and price appropriately.
Attends meetings and planning sessions.
Works with and communicates needs to DM's.
Works with Public Relations, IT, Transportation and Accounting.
Supervises workforce for event preparation and during event.
Ability to travel between stores and to events as needed.
Check iPads and Square readers before each event to ensure they are in working order.
Fill out check request and pick up change fund for each event.
Pack up all items going to the event and work with Transportation on loading preparation and pick up after event.
Work with the Stylist and her team on ensuring they have access to the clothing and accessories necessary to dress the models for the events.
Attend the meetings for both the South Bend and Northwest events and give feedback as to the preparation and needs of the boutique.
Work with the Public Relations Department on p possible added pop up events through the year.
Keep fashion room clean and orderly.
Work with Maintenance department to keep all fixtures presentable and in good working condition, along with any upkeep.
Once the event is done separate the merchandise and send it back to the store it came from or send the high dollar items to Ecommerce for the stores. Then start setting up for the next event.
Keep clothing and accessories covered and protected.
Securities and Safety:
Assist in maintaining safety and security of the premises and merchandise.
Assist in seeking to control pilferage and prevent burglary.
Assist in eliminating fire hazards and unsafe conditions.
Assist in conducting emergency drills and instruct workers in fire prevention and safety procedures.
Maintain a safe working environment.
You will be responsible for keeping all merchandise secured when transporting merchandise from stores or to and from events.
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or District Manager.
Assisting Loyalty Program and Analytics Manager:
- Helping maintain and update the rewards program.
Assisting in a Retail Store Management Level:
Accurately count money and make change.
Accurately ring register, being aware of proper pricing.
Have a working knowledge of the Loyalty Program and Good Points Card.
Know all Visa/MasterCard procedures and issuing of Credit Slips for returns.
Properly bag merchandise.
Politely communicate policies to customers as needed.
Assist in the supervision of the work force:
Assist Manager in the supervision of all store employees.
Assume all necessary managerial functions in the absence of the Manager and Assistant Manager (vacations, days off, etc.).
Assist in training and developing store employees.
Set a good example for all other store employees.
Assist in supervision of stock procedures:
Assist in the handling of donations, returns, oops and stock transfers.
Assist in quoting prices not on the price list.
Assist in checking the condition and placement of stock.
Assist the manager and other employees in maintaining store appearance and shopability.
Work to reduce internal theft and shoplifting in the stores.
Administrative and clerical operations:
Administer company policies and procedures.
Assist in the supervision of daily bank deposits, replenish change fund, and pick up bank bags.
Issuing in-store credit
Handle customer complaints.
Maintain all store records.
Must be well groomed and personable.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to exercise good judgment.
Must have effective communication skills.
Ability to supervise personnel.
Must have prior experience in dealing with the public and the ability to do so tactfully.
Ability to be sales oriented.
Must have a telephone and access to a car.
Must have a current driver's license and car insurance and be able to drive to as many locations as necessary.
Must be bondable.
Ability to carry out established organizational and departmental policies as described in the Employee Handbook and Sales Manual in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
Ability to be a working manager.
Ability to work a flexible schedule and working long days as necessary.
Must be able to pass drug screen before receiving store keys and random drug tests thereafter.
Results of limited criminal history check must meet company standards.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must have good eyesight, speech, and hearing.
Must have good physical stamina and moderate mobility as well as the ability to lift, bend, and work on feet for at least four (4) hour periods.
Ability to distinguish colors.
Ability to read, write, and do simple math functions.
Ability to move filled boxes, barrels, and Z racks weighing no more than 50 pounds.
