U.S. Bank Technical Project Manager - CBSS (Work From Home) in Richmond, Indiana
We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager supporting CBSS that will be responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting, financial reporting, and stability of complex and cross functional project oriented work efforts. Responsibilities include managing multiple projects and/or integrated projects simultaneously, and establishing and implementing industry best practice project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet or exceed the needs of clients. The candidate will negotiate and communicate changes regarding the scope, budget or schedule of the project and acts as the final decision-maker during all stages of the project life-cycle.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and Microsoft Project or similar tool.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects on time, on budget and with the approved scope.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large, complex and highly integrated software development, implementation, or technical consulting projects simultaneously in a technical environment.
Proficient communicating project status, financials, issues and opportunities to higher level management.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to develop and motivate high-performing and diverse teams.
Proficient in defining stakeholder communication requirements and developing and delivering communication plans.
Demonstrated ability to identify, manage and mitigate risks.
Ability to accurately estimate project activities and project budgets, and control costs while maintaining quality.
Experience with Clarity
Ability to identify new opportunities to add value to clients through additional tools and/or services desired.
Proven Experience with software implementations and/or the software development life cycle projects.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Eight to ten years of experience in technical project management activities – leading technical and non-technical resources.
Experience with Clarity
Experience working in a Waterfall and Agile (Scrum)
Experience assisting teams with identification of action items, tasks and activities and tracking progress.
Experience at defining, implementing and continually improving standards, processes and procedures utilizing industry best practice (PMI, CMMI, etc.).
Working knowledge and practical experience within the financial services industry preferred.
