Siemens Manufacturing Supervisor- Night Shift in Mishawaka, Indiana
This is a first line supervisor position who will be a key member of Mishawaka, IN manufacturing team supervising DCA cartridge reagent assembly. The successful candidate must be able to lead teams to consensus, drive action items, hold team members accountable, prioritize work based upon need and resources available, and communicate actions effectively across the Business Unit.
Duties andResponsibilities
Responsible forreporting the progress of the project to different levels in the organization,making sure the information is accurate and up to date.
Drive to maintaina strong manufacturing team with a healthy and effective employee relationsclimate.
Ensure a strongsense of urgency and accountability within manufacturing operations.
Ensure adherenceat any time to relevant internal and local EHS-standards.
Provide tacticalsupervision of the DCA reagent assembly line
Achieve optimumproductivity and quality of products
Ensures staffcompliance to all FDA, Federal, State and OSHA requirements
Ensure staff complianceto all internal quality and operational processes
Responsible fortraining, development and performance management of shift personnel
Responsible forsupervising 10-20 direct labor staff
Responsible forproviding daily instruction to staff, issue resolution/escalation onmanufacturing floor
Monitor highvolume production lines identify opportunities for improvement, determinationof root cause and solution implementation
Participatesand/or leads manufacturing projects linked to FDA readiness, project transfersinto manufacturing from R&D and other projects as assigned
RepresentsManufacturing at a variety of functional meetings/events (Quality reviewboards, etc.)
Apply productionmetrics to monitor and execute continuous improvement
Miscellaneous OperationalResponsibilities
Work to optimizeuse of resources in a continuous operations environment.
Promote learningfrom the past to strengthen and enable proactive planning.
