Grove US LLC Customer Service Specialist - 258 in Jeffersonville, Indiana

As a Customer Service Specialist, you will satisfy customer requests for aftermarket parts, sales, and service through use of Manitowoc Crane Care information systems and procedures and support customer and dealer parts personnel with parts order expediting and technical parts research. Crane configuration properties require in depth understanding of Engineering documentation to properly supply the correct parts for each serialized crane. Candidate must be knowledgeable in an ERP system to expertly respond to and support stock, Critical Care and Crane Down parts orders. Join our passionate team and help build something you can be proud of a future filled with passion, pride, and satisfaction.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Maintain high level of ability to respond to dealer/customer technical parts inquires via the Crane Care Contact Center. Applicant must be experienced with US and German ERP/Engineering systems and must have technical knowledge of crane configuration. Applicant provides technical support on all North American stock, Critical Care and Crane Down parts orders.Must be able to Identify parts at Inbound and Outbound to conformance of fit, form and function. Identify parts needing stamping or specifications and complete per instructions. Other tasks include pictures of parts, measurements, freight tracking and claims reporting internal and external. Timely responses Adherence to Parts and Service policies Proactive Quality and Grief follow up Must be able to work with external as well as internal customers.JOB REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Customer Service from a manufacturing background/ cranes/heavy equipment OR in lieu of degree will consider candidates with high school diploma with a minimum of 7 years customer service experience in Cranes, Off/highway construction/heavy equipment dealing directly with equipment distributors, owners and users primarily in a product or customer support capacity.ERP (SAP/BaaN/Oracle, etc.) experience is a strong plus. Knowledge in Mechanical/Electrical background preferred.Must have strong verbal, written and computer skills, including, the internet, MS office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to travel up to 5% to go to other Manitowoc facilities as required. Warehouse Environment with access to a shared office requires lifting / lowering of parts of various weightsup to 50 lbs.Ability to be able to disassemble or assemble parts a strong plus.Must be able to work with management and warehouse employees.Must be available as scheduled for after hour cell phone / email coverageEqual Opportunity Employerminorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
