Super Machine Operator- 3rd shift Rotating
Work Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shift from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
Week one: Work 36 hours (Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Week two: Work 48 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday)
Then the schedule repeats starting back with week one. The candidate must be able to work weekends to work this schedule.
What does a great production associate do? Perform basic and detailed machining and assembly tasks such as working from order ticket, gathering all materials requested for assembly and setting up embossing equipment. Must be able to operate at least one or multiple machines and/or perform many manual / assembly duties. Perform repetitious and previously performed work without supervisory and technical assistance. Assistance may be needed for other work. Multi-tasking that requires focused concentration is expected to be learned – must be willing to cross train. Monitor cards and carriers for quality and correctness, confirm count, separate special handling request and forward to appropriate area (s). Utilizes basic skills and experience background to perform machining and manual tasks. Process transactions necessary for work situations that requires very good working PC user know-how.
You can expect the following:
Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
Control and adjust machine settings, according to the job ticket.
Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
Test operation of machines periodically.
Resolve machine errors and issues that might occur while operating.
Maintain activity logs related to daily secured card production.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, but is not required.
Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Deep knowledge of production operation.
Experience operating a computer workstation.
Working with associates in collaboration to further company goals concerning efficiently, safety, quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Flexibility with working in other areas on occasion.
Strong ability to multi task.
Be able, as it is necessary-to climb, stretch, crouch or kneel.
Successful performance requires good vision including close vision for accurate attention to detail.
Work requires incumbent to be mobile and in a standing / walking position.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Uses hands to handle, finger, or feel objects and to perform keyboarding.
