This is why the Director of Marketing Experience plays a pivotal role for the our Marketing product organization.

We are looking for a Senior/Director of Marketing Experience for our Marketing Cloud Experience team, who can work cross-functionally and collaboratively across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams, to amplify the value of the Salesforce for Marketing platform to our customers while continuously adapting to evolving marketing strategies and technologies

You will play a vital role as the domain and technical expert for our products and to own product adoption/growth strategies for assigned product areas and related solutions that may need to exist outside of the native Salesforce for Marketing products. You will partner closely with product management to identify product go-to-market activities that will drive product adoption, growth, and satisfaction. With customers as your top priority, you will help customers understand how the Salesforce for Marketing ecosystem will help them and develop documentation that may clarify how we meet use case requirements.

The ideal candidate will be curious about marketing technology and eager to learn and in turn, be passionate about working with customers and have a proven track record of making customers successful with the Salesforce for Marketing platform. Also, a strategic mindset and data-driven approach is required to develop programs that can be amplified to the broader customer base. The position will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing Cloud Experience.


  • Cross-team collaboration to develop and execute on business and technical adoption and growth strategies and GTM activities.

  • Work as a trusted partner to strategic customers and maintain strong relationships for referenceability. Anticipate blockers to product adoption.

  • Gather customer insights and feedback and incorporate as part of the Salesforce for Marketing VOC process. Must incorporate customer learnings back to the product and engineering organization.

  • Develop reference architecture and best practice materials that are needed to further provide clarity on how our products can be used.

  • Anticipate blockers to product adoption.

  • Maintaining knowledge of products across the Salesforce for Marketing portfolio.

Role Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working in a product management, consultative/architect role, or equivalent experience at a large organization.

  • Polished presenter, with strong verbal skills, able to effectively present and defend point of view to a variety of audiences including technical, non-technical, end-user, and executive audiences.

  • Proven ability to develop and successfully launch programs/initiatives.

  • Possess Salesforce for Marketing expertise.

  • Four year college degree (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar degree preferred) or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency.

  • SQL knowledge, full stack web development knowledge is beneficial to this role.
