MEDICAL SURGICAL INNOVATION UNIT CONSISTS OF 46 BEDS AND A NURSE TO PATIENT RATIO OF 1:4 OR 1:5
Join our team of highly skilled & dedicated nurses on our Medical Surgical Innovation unit. Our associates provide excellent, compassionate care for our patients as well as each other. Our associates are flexible, hardworking and learn to be adept at critical thinking. We practice an accountable care model where we do interdisciplinary Rounding each day on our patients. In the innovation unit, we are looking for engaged and positive people to help find ways to change healthcare for the future.

PATIENTS WE SERVE:
Our patient population is a large variety of diagnoses and patients with multiple comorbidities: A large variety of respiratory illnesses, renal failure, diabetes, and many other diagnoses.
St. Vincent Medical Surgical Innovation unit is located at 2001 W. 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46260 is hiring Part-Time, Night Shift - RN - 7:00PM – 7:30AM, Sunday – Saturday; Full-Time (24 hours) a week; scheduled every third weekend and every other holiday. What You Will Do
As an Associate with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
What You Will Need
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
One or more of the following:
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
- None required.
