Community Health Network has an excellent opportunity available within our Vascular East Clinic team located on the east side in Indianapolis, Indiana (travel required to other locations). Where you fit in

The Registered Nurse Ambulatory functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as: taking incoming and outgoing triage phone calls from patients, scheduling appointments, contacting patients with lab and test results and providing patient education. Coordinating patient care, communicating with patients, their families and internal and external physician, hospital and healthcare agencies. Other responsibilities include suture/staple removal, dressing changes, and possibly assisting the physician with small in-office procedures. Travel will be required to other locations including north side of Indianapolis, south side of Indianapolis, west side of Indianapolis, Noblesville, and Anderson.

Your exceptional skills

Two years or more of nursing experience preferred. Previous medical office experience and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred. Excellent communication skills; excellent team skills; compassionate and caring; able to multi-task; accountable; self-directed; good critical thinking skills.

Your exceptional qualifications

Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing or three years of related professional nursing experience. Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
