Position Summary

Position is responsible for assisting the Director of the Office of Disability Affairs to complete special projects and to provide constituent communication and administrative support.

Position Responsibilities

Researches expansion of office website and draft content recommendations.

Gathers information from and respond to constituents.

Provides special events and initiatives support to Director.

Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.

Reaches out to community groups, Mayors Neighborhood Advocates, and constituents regarding DPW projects and initiatives.

Bachelor's Degree required. Experience working with the public and interacting with constituents. Effective written and oral communication skills. Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines. Strong belief in a collaborative work environment, continuing education and professional development.
