Kelly Services Payment Processor in Indianapolis, Indiana

Let’s figure out what’s next together. If you ask us, this job looks pretty great. Kelly ® Professional & Industrial is looking for Payment Processor for our government client in Indianapolis, IN ! The position is projected to be a contract role for at least 6-months. The position is located outside of the downtown area so candidate should be able to commute to the south area of the Indianapolis Airport area. Training will also be on-site (this is not a work from home position). Projected start is June 21st. Interviews will begin as soon as an identified candidate is presented. Sound good? Pay: $13.75/hour

Schedule- first shift, full time hours- Monday-Friday; 8am-4:30pm

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The essential functions of this role are as follows:• Process all walk-in customer payments. Role is customer interacting in person and via mail.• Assist Accountant 3 with processing mail-in customer payments.• Write up refunds for base plate returns.• Tracking and mailing of 2290 forms.• Applies agency or state policies, regulations, and procedures related to program to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to program requirements.• Issues the proper documentation, registrations, permits, licenses, or other operating authorizations.• Assist in the processing of all incoming financial mail to ensure that all documentation gets to the correct area.• Scanning of all the previous day’s paperwork.

  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma is required

  • Ability to deal tactfully with individuals in resolving their differences;

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, others in the division, agency.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook (email and calendar), operate a multi-phone system

  • Ability to find, gather and collect information or data and evaluate information against a set of standards.

  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely.
