Direct Care Staff
The Direct Care Staff will provide direct supervision of residents. This includes positive interactions with residents and other staff. DCS are expected to provide timely and appropriate feedback to residents on behaviors. Individuals in this position are expected to provide de-escalation interventions by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). DCS are also required to complete client documentation during their shifts.
Experience working with children and adolescents with Sexually Maladaptive Behaviors preferred.
Experience working in a group home setting.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum 21 years of age.

May be required to lift/restrain residents.
May have some exposure to communicable/infectious diseases
May have some risk of injury from assaultive/abusive residents.

Ability to work assigned hours per week.
Ability to walk, sit, stand, for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
