Were looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.ResponsibilitiesThe Consultant Social Impact and Reputation Management Communications will be responsible for creating, in partnership with the Director of Corporate Communications and the Culture Communications team, a proactive strategy to creatively communicate Lillys narrative, focusing on the companys social impact, environment, sustainability and governance (ESG) initiatives, and corporate social responsibility activities. The Consultant will be responsible for implementing the strategy, creating key content and deliverables. The Consultant will also be responsible for and helping prepare for and drive the issues management response across a variety of corporate issues.A skilled communicator with strong consulting skills and experience navigating the complexity of a highly matrixed structure, the Social Impact and Reputation Management Communications Consultant will collaborate with colleagues within Corporate Communications, and across the Reputation Management, Enterprise Communications and Creative, Content and Channels teams to ensure alignment throughout the Communications function and drive an enterprise-wide focus and delivery of the Lilly corporate narrative.Key Objectives/DeliverablesIn partnership with the Corporate Communications Director, create a communications plan that drives alignment with the overall Global Communications strategy, and creatively communicates Lillys social impact, ESG and corporate social responsibility work. Responsible for execution and implementation of the plan.Provide input to issues management and issues advocacy position work to keep content up to date; prepare for and help drive issues response across a variety of corporate issues, in collaboration with business partners.Support the Corporate Communications Director and collaborate with Corporate Communications team members to drive a complete communications strategy. Work flexibly to share work across the Corporate Communications team, as needed.With strategic direction from the Corporate Communications Director and in partnership with Corporate Communications, Discovery and Innovation Communications and Public Affairs Communications, help deliver external communications that are more streamlined, creative, connective and forward-looking.Stay informed of external environment and flag issues and trends.Evaluate and recommend new ideas to drive Lillys voice externally.Develop content to support strategies and initiatives including but not limited to press releases, key messages, standby statements for relevant Corporate Communications topics, such as social impact work and issues.Using the corporate narrative and other key communications materials, develop scripts and talking points for executive leadership.Develop and execute media relations strategy, in partnership with Corporate Communications team, focused on showcasing our impact.Partner with and provide direction to external agencies and vendors, as needed.Use analytics to measure results, adjust tactics and content to continually improve.Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field5 years of diverse communications experience within corporate or public relations agency environmentsAdditional Skills/Preferences Pharmaceutical or healthcare experience and expertiseCorporate communications or external communications experience, issues management experience preferredProven success and com
