WSP is currently initiating a search for a Roadway Intern / Co-Op for our Indianapolis office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist and support the Civil/Highway design teams in the execution of road projects;

• Provide technical support in various stages of project, including preliminary design, final design and contract documentation including cost estimates and specifications;

• Discuss and propose solutions to technical issues during design;

• Coordinating with other design disciplines;

• Maintain positive team relationships;

• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and bid packages;

• Support projects by attending meetings and interacting with clients, agency officials, and contractors

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working toward earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

• Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills

• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products

• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous engineering internship experience

• Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
