Were looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Corporate Communications will be responsible for supporting the Director of Corporate Communications and the Corporate Communications team, to execute the proactive strategy that creatively communicates Lillys narrative. The Associate Consultant will have an opportunity to assist with communications efforts across media relations, executive thought leadership, financial and business communications, social impact, issues management, amongst others.The Corporate Communications Associate will collaborate with colleagues within Corporate Communications, and across the Reputation Management, Enterprise Communications and Creative, Content and Channels teams to ensure alignment throughout the Communications function and drive an enterprise-wide focus and delivery of the Lilly corporate narrative.Key Objectives/DeliverablesProvide input to and support implementation of the corporate communications plan. Work flexibly across the team to support all aspects of Corporate Communications.Support the Corporate Communications Director and collaborate with Corporate Communications team members to drive a complete communications strategy.With oversight from the Corporate Communications Director and in partnership with Corporate Communications, Discovery and Innovation Communications and Public Affairs Communications, help deliver external communications that are more streamlined, creative, connective and forward-looking.Monitor external environment to help flag issues and trends.Evaluate and recommend new ideas to drive Lillys voice externally.Support communications team with writing assignments and developing other content to support relevant Corporate Communications topics.Support corporate communications team with best practice implementation and process improvement.Support execution of media relations strategy, in partnership with Corporate Communications team, to respond to reporter inquiries.Partner with and provide direction to external agencies and vendors, as needed.Support measurement across the team through use of analytics to measure results, adjust tactics and content to continually improve.Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree or higher in journalism, communications, public relations or related field,2 years of communications experience OR entry level 0-1 years experience with some previous internship experienceAdditional Skills/Preferences Communications experience preferredStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with quick learning capabilities and high emotional intelligenceAbility to balance priorities and coordinate multiple initiativesDemonstrated ability to influence peers and internal leaders at higher levels of the organizationExperience collaborating with cross-functional teamsSuperb communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skillsEffective project management skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and multi-taskAbility to be a flexible team player, act quickly and meet deadlines with the highest ethical and business standards.Drive with ability to be innovative and creative, and knowledgeable about new communications trends.Ability to remain calm under pressure.Meticulous attention to detail, with ability to grasp and focus on the big picture.Project management capability that includes process development and improvement, communications of best practices, and measurement.Additional Information T
