Were looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.The Associate Content will assist in creating compelling content and -- in tandem with the Channels team -- managing the editorial calendar for Global Communications initiatives in support of a consistent narrative, customer experience and to build Lilly brand reputation.Under the strategic direction of the Content Director, the Senior Content Associate will assist in providing counsel across the enterprise, identifying stories and executing an enterprise-wide editorial calendar aligned with the Lilly narrative. The Senior Content Associate will work closely with colleagues on the Creative Content Channels team, and help establish and enforce standards and guidelines for content across the organization.The Senior Content Associate should be prepared to provide additional support as needed for Lilly Global Communications.The position is located in Indianapolis, reporting to the Content Director.Responsibilities:Collaborates closely with the Creative and Channel teams, as well as the Global Enterprise and Reputation teams, subject matter experts and project managers to deliver work that aligns to Lillys objectives and drives results.In partnership with the Content Director, executes on team priorities, including the editorial calendar for the corporation, and helps drives operational efficiencies in the messaging/content development process to meet project and team needs.In partnership with the Channels team, manages editorial calendar and coordinates across the Content and Channels teams and broader Global Communications organization to execute disciplined editorial plan on corporate digital channels.Works across the organization to find and tell compelling stories that advance Lillys reputational objectives with key audiences.Helps create, develop and publish content across mediums (video, written, graphics, audio), including and corporate social media channels.Helps oversee and manage vendor relationships, execution and budgets, including contract writing and video production services utilized by corporate affairs and others.Using the corporate narrative and Lillys objectives, helps develop messaging and content for speeches, live events, press releases, internal announcements and for digital channels.Manages review processes for content on Lillys corporate channels and helps ensure Lilly communications quality standards as well as legal, regulatory and privacy compliance of content.Consults with employees, agencies and vendors who need to understand and apply the Lilly voice consistently.Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of agency and/or in-house experience creating content for print, video and/or digital and social for a corporate brand.Minimum of 3 years of writing experience.Bachelors Degree in journalism, English, or a related field.Additional Skills/Preference:Outstanding portfolio of writing and/or video content demonstrating ability to find and tell compelling stories.Advanced understanding of AP style and ability to edit and write for a variety of channels including social/digital, speech, video, podcast, etc. Media relations experience for a large organization.Ability to combine business strategy, brand strategy and customer insight to create content for internal and external audiences.Advanced understanding of corporate review processes, legal and regulatory guidelines as well as MS Office Suite, and other relevant software.Understanding of and experienc
