Quality Engineering role supporting Huntington, IN manufacturing operations.Problem solver using tools such as 8D, Kaizen, A3, and Lean Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement for internal and external customers.Review, develop, and implement Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) to drive process robustness. Identify Jidoka and Poka-Yoke solutions to reduce process risk. Ensure Process Control Plans are linked to PFMEA's and standard work instructions.Drive continuous improvement leveraging Schneider Performance System (SPS) methodologies to identify opportunities to reduce scrap, customer returns, and manufacturing defects.Supports Short Interval Management serving as a key team member, demonstrating leadership, responsiveness, excellent communication skills, and ability to team with others solving issues and implementing improvement.Interfaces with external customers regarding product concerns. Responsible for investigations, customer follow-up, and ultimate customer satisfaction.Interfaces heavily with Technical Antennas/Order Engineering, manufacturing, salaried support personnel, external corporate engineering, quality, and supplier quality resources.Supports new product introductions, supplier development activities relating to Huntington components and is a key contributor to those overall successes.Benchmark with other Schneider entities, align, and deploy projects to utilize digital technology in process robustness and continuous improvement.Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical field preferred)2. Experience within manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent3. Experience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (ie. 5Why, fishbone)4. Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desired5. Demonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project management6. Excellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detail7. Excellent computer and system skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.8. Strong desire to work with people, on the manufacturing floor and with customer interface, excellentfollow-up and execution skills.9.
