Cardiovascular OPThe Cardiovascular Outpatient Unit (CVU) is a 20 bed newly opened unit that houses all pre and post outpatient Cath Lab, EP lab and IR procedure patients. Occasionally an inpatient procedure will have to be housed for sheath maintenance in the department as well. With the newly expanded area, we will be also housing the 23 hour chest pain observation patients that will need to have stress testing completed prior to discharge. We have a Charge Nurse that works during the day to assist with the day to day activities of the department.
