Chef - HobartHOURS: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm 3 - 4 days and weekPAY: $12 - $14/hour after trainingEXPECTATIONS:Greet customers with a smile whenever in viewAnswer phone with a smile and Thank you for calling Marilyns BakeryWork scheduled shift or find appropriate replacementComplete jobs, side work, daily records before leavingWork efficiently and within your scheduled timesKeep a positive attitude, even when stressed, tired or not in the moodAccept responsibility for your actions: acknowledge when you have done something incorrectly and how you can avoid that in the futureFollow policies and procedures for a smoother running work environmentSave phone calls, eating, long conversations, smoking, visiting with friends for breaks and lunches. Cell phone in locker, no iPods.Prepare recipes with consistency and completely follow proceduresExercise confidentiality with regards to personal information and payShare concerns with supervisor as they arise and help to problem solve solutionsWork to help make the next person 100% successfulRESPONSIBILITIES:Roast all meats to quality standardsCut meats and portion according to quality standardsMake salads and recipes for lunch cartKeep lunch cart stocked, rotated, monitoring and minimizing waste and spoilageCreate employee lunches - working with minimizing waste.Make Sandwiches and plate according to quality standards within time limitsMake soupsFollow recipes and procedures according to guidelines, assuring highest quality standardsBreakdown station, clean, label, restockPrep all vegetables for weeks usage: carrots, zucchini, chicken pot pie filling, bag bananasComplete weekly side work for am, lunch, backAnswer phone as needed, and input orders correctlyAssist sales/production as needed; may include helping customers, packaging products and closing down backWash dishes according to standards and put away in proper location; includes lunch dishes and dish room Take out garbage and recycling to proper waste binsCompost and discard all organic waste*Properly sweep and mop bakery using the standards that are in placeKeep daily paperwork: record wastes on waste sheet, fill out prep lists as needed for next shift and inventory of lunch cart
