Johnson Memorial Health MED/SURG/INFUSION DEPARTMENT MANAGER in Franklin, Indiana
Johnson Memorial Health is seeking a Manager for our Medical/Surgical and Vascular Accesss/Infusion Services Departments who is passionate about driving a Patient First culture. The successful candidate will be experienced in medical/surgical nursing and management/supervision and will be an effective communicator and listener.
This position provides leadership of Medical/Surgical and Vascular Access/Infusion Services deparments. Oversees and directs nursing practice for delivery of patient care and may assist in the provision of care on occasion. Provides professional judgements in handling nursing care issues. Measures quality outcomes, leads departmental Performance Improvement initiatives and works on process improvement through staff, teams and councils.
Responsible for recruitment, supervision and development of department staff an ensures consistent application of department and hospital policies. Provides for appropriate staffing to perform departmental functions and meet the needs and expectations of department customers. Responsible for development of departmental operations and capital budgets. Maintains financial operations of department to meet budget targets. Provides training, resources and support to maximize use of available technology and IT systems.
Current Indiana RN License required. BSN required and MSN/MBA preferred. At least five years of professional nursing experience required; one year of experience in a leadership role preferred. Must maintain current CPR certification. Medical Surgical RN certification preferred.
