This position will:Conceptualize, plan, design, and produce high profile print, online and multimedia projects consistent with Purdue University Fort Wayne's brand guidelinesWork in partnership with production artist as needed to carry concepts across collateralCollaborate with colleagues within Marketing and Communications to bring projects from conceptual stages to completedReview proofs during production stages and ensure quality of final products before distribution to clientsEnsure projects are on time and on budgetRequired:Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related fieldAbility to take direction well and juggle multiple projects at onceAbility to work quickly and efficiently under the pressures of deadlinesProficient in industry-standard desktop publishing software (Adobe Creative Suite), File Transfer Protocol (FTP) procedures and general processing programsUnderstanding of material/production costs, time limits and other factors that impact designKnowledge of pre-press and printing processesStrong typographic and color skillsPreferred:Minimum of five years of professional work-related experienceAdditional Information:Review of applications will begin immediately.
