Job Opening: Material Handler (2nd Shift)Starting Pay:i $12 - $15.50 per hourHours:i 2pm - 10pm (Overtime required)!Apply Online: ihttps://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.php/jobs/ViewJobDetails?job=29161andclientkey=C67220A9469A28B3A0531411427B752AiWe are looking foritwo fork truck drivers that will accurately supply our production floor with materials, using scanning guns to document material movement and follow all safety rules.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Note: Other duties may be assigned)Follow all safety guidelines and ensure other material handlers are following themUsing documents generated by customer pick tickets, accurately selects product from the warehouse storage locations and supply materials to production lines.Communicate and coordinate with other material handlersFollowing pallet heights specs, inspecting for damage andishrink wrap pallets mechanically and manually if needed.Scanning material to its appropriate locations at all times.Alerts the production to any shortages, inventory discrepanciesConsolidate bins and bays for incoming productMaintain the housekeeping standards of the production floor. Keeps the D. C. aisles clear, removes empty pallets from the pick bins and maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of all the facility work areas.Support the company goals for continuous improvement.Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation among all warehouse staff.Move material in FIFO (first in/first out) basis.Bilingual English/Spanish speaking a plusQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, previous certification from an employer or traineriKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Relevant work experience includes warehouse labori- receiving,ishippingCandidate must be able to read and understand pick tickets and follow a moderately sophisticated set of order filling instructions.Strong team playerSafe driving recordFlexible and adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.Utilize hand held scan gunsDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyBilingual preferred.
