Human Resources AssistantFull TimeClericalHuman Resources Assistant M-F 8a-5p FLEX 40 hours4 days agoRequisition ID:i3769Title: Human Resources Assistant i iHours: M-F 8am-5pm FLEX i i Pay: i$12.00-$16.25 i Location: iColdwateriiSummary:iThe Human iResources Assistant works closely with the HR team to make sure personnel information is submitted accurately and efficiently in HRIS software systems and paper files. i The HR Assistant helps answer general HR questions to staff in a timely and welcoming manner. iWorks collaboratively with the HR team and ensures confidentiality and follows best practices. iiDuties and Responsibilities:Completes the weekly job posting sheet.Assists potential job candidates and internal candidates with the ADP job portal.Processes new hire and change paperwork.iAssists new hire candidates with onboarding paperwork.Sets up and maintains employee files.Maintains the ADP employee personnel database and turns in required changes to the payroll department by required deadlines.Completes employment verifications and files HR paperwork.Assists HR Generalists as needed with employment references and scheduling interviews.Answers staff questions and serves as the first HR contact for the department.Responsible for updating and maintaining agency organizational chart.Maintains internal reports and spreadsheets for the HR department Balanced Scorecard goals.Completes additional HR projects as assigned, and fills in for other HR team members in times of absence and as needed.Assists with HR projects and events such as benefit enrollment and health fairs.Tracks and generates referral bonus paymentsAdheres to Easter Seals Arc Human Resources Policies and performs other duties assigned.Assists the Human Resources Director as needed.iQualifications:Must be 18 years of age.High School Diploma or GED required. iTwo years of college level classed preferred.One year experience in Human Resources or employment field required.Experience with Microsoft Office software including word, excel, and outlook required. iExperience with ADP preferred.Ability to adhere to all applicable regulations such as the EEOC, Affirmative Action, HIPAA, local, state, and federal laws.Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and other required screenings.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while working independently.Is flexible and able to handle a multitude of duties while under pressure.Ability to organize and maintain files and records with a high degree of accuracy.Ability to communicate effectively in order to:Complete required forms and reports of services provided.Follow oral and written instructions.Communicate with an individual in the individualis mode of communication.Ability to perform light lifting when needed.Must be able to attend training opportunities within the state.Possession of valid driveris license, safe driving record, and proof of auto insurance required.iWorking Conditions:iTheiHuman Resources Assistant performs duties in a standard office environment. iEmployee works with some supervision, both alone and with others in a team environment.
