Berry Global National Account Representative in EVANSVILLE, Indiana



The National Account Representative will report directly to the Vice President of Sales for HHS North America Hygiene.

The primary responsibility of the NAR is to work collaboratively with the HHS NA Hygiene Sales team to drive customer satisfaction, increase revenue, growth and profitability with assigned accounts for the $500MM+ business. The NAR is responsible for supporting the Account Managers in developing and implementing account strategies for each assigned account, including outlining the short, medium and long range goals and objectives.

The NAR’s duties include managing the inside and outside day- to-day activities related to assigned accounts. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the coordination of customer needs/requests with “internal” Berry customers such as Capacity Planning, Customer Service, Plant Schedulers, Plant Quality Managers, Estimating and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work with assigned customers to facilitate the day to day business including information requests, pricing updates, review of quality complaints/corrective actions, regulatory requests and coordinate getting information to the plants ($20MM in total sales)

  • Coordinate RFI and RFQ requests from assigned customers together with Account Manager

  • Manage all requests for new or updated pricing for Labels business

  • Support Price Council activities as needed

  • Update customer price lists with monthly index changes and distribute to Customer, Sales, and Customer Service

  • Domtar, Fempro, First Quality, Essity, Cardinal, Innovative Disposables, RPG Innovations, Irving, Majilite, NPS Corp, PBE, Novipax, Tietex, Medtronic.

  • Review and verify price lists and PCCF’s prior to distribution

  • Work with Account Managers to facilitate plant cross qualifications, resin changes, embossing qualifications, and cost savings/new formulations, etc.

  • Update and deliver monthly customer dashboards and sales data to track Berry performance vs customer expectations. Use dashboards to trend annual and historical sales data, inventory levels, quality issues, and commercial projects

  • First Quality, Domtar, Ontex

  • Work with Invoicing Dept. and Credit as needed to resolve invoicing issues and overdue payments

  • Analyze and manage Commercial activities to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and increased profitability in the $16MM Labels business

  • Perform special project work as needed

  • Analysis of CRM opportunities and Open Capacity to drive appropriate sales action

  • Freight analysis of costs / weight per shipment. Identify opportunities for freight savings with current and potential business.

  • RFP assistance – Item analysis, pricing, supply chain review

  • Perform business analysis on HHS NA Hygiene customers to review sales data, identify trends, and drive process improvement

  • Administer and maintain HHS NA Hygiene Sharepoint site

  • Maintain calendars for International & National conferences to coordinate meetings for Sales team Hygienix, Index, WOW

  • Support ongoing Key Account Planning documents, scheduling, and maintenance

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 year college degree is desirable

  • Ability to build and maintain strong teamwork relationships

  • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills

  • Good math and writing skills

  • Able to work with English and Metric measurements and to work with various units of measure and convert
