Summary: The EMT/LPN will respond to emergencies and treat employees that have been injured or are ill due to work-related or personal. This position will also work closely with other departments to promote adherence to medical and safety protocols. The schedule for this hourly is Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays.Responsibilities:Provide preventative and emergency medical care to injured or ill personsEnsure personal well-beingUnderstand basic medical / legal principlesPrepare documentation and reports, and maintains recordsComplete probable cause or post-accident assessment of employeeEnsure OSHA, Workers Compensation and other medically necessary complianceFunction within the scope of medical care as defined protocol and state, regional, and local regulatory agenciesMaintain confidential informationAssist with incident investigations and required documentationPerform other duties as needed or requiredLead emergency medical team when called to the production floor or other facility areasPerform other duties as needed or requiredQualifications: EMT or Paramedic certification, or current Indiana LPN licenseMinimum of 1 years' experience as a EMT, Paramedic or licensed LPNAbility to work in a team-based environmentWillingness to work flexible hours to provide support while working occasional overtime, including weekendsMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentMust have good computer skills including Microsoft OfficeAbility to work in extreme hot, cold, wet, humid, and odorous environmentsUphold company policies and ethical standardsAbility to work well with people at all levelsCommitment to follow safety policies and practicesMust be able to pass E-VerifyFLSA Status: Hourly Non-ExemptCulture and
