Job Description:

  • Conduct Epicor system transactions to receive parts into stock against the correct program, adjust out to engineering/production end-users, return material, make adjustments to inventory quantities, and make material transfers.
  • Deliver material ordered to end-users and engineering labs/production line/staging locations.
  • Assist Contract Administrators with preparation of shipping documents and inspect, label, and pack product for outgoing shipments.
  • Execute inventory management/cycle counting/annual inventories and applicable analysis for all relevant Government Property.
  • Perform Government Property audits for Government, external, or internal customers.
  • Run weekly reports to ensure Government Property is being purchased and handled appropriately.
  • Log, track, and manage Special Tooling (ST), Special Test Equipment (STE), and ST/STE at subcontracted vendors for all applicable programs.
  • Ensure company compliance with Government regulations - IAW FAR Part 45.
  • Aid Contract Administrators with Work Instruction and QS Process updates as needed.
  • Support the Contracts Department with contracts involving Government Property.
  • Assist Contract Administrators with the contract closeout process and disposal of inventory.

Required Skills:

  • This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
  • Formal training or college degree with no experience OR High School degree with 2+ years of related experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • 2+ years of capability to count accurately and perform basic math
  • Willing to obtain a forklift license.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in material control/inventory management/cycle counting/ERP systems.
  • Exposure to Government owned materials (parts) and/or familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
  • Extensive knowledge in planning and carrying out activities in an organized fashion.
  • Willing to learn new things quickly and multi-task.
  • Provide consistent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate follow-through, timeliness of transactions, and accurate data entry and upkeep.
  • Willingness to document current processes and train as necessary.
  • Possess strong independent and teamwork and communication skills.

  • Willing to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Willing to comfortably use computer software (i.e. Epicor, Document Manager).
