Must be able to organize and complete assigned work schedule.iPERFORMANCE STANDARDSExemplifies good customer service.Regular reliable attendance.Demonstrates proficient use of email.Organize work load during shift to facilitate timely and efficient operation of hospital.Maintains proper handling of regulated medical waste, regular trash, soiled linen and pharmaceutical waste as required.Maintains equipment, keeps clean and in good working order.Distributes and maintains linen throughout the hospital as needed.Launders cleaning rags, mops and other miscellaneous linen as assigned.Has keen eye for detail filling out maintenance request forms for any repairs such as leaky faucets, loose tiles, damaged equipment, etc., appropriately.Follows safe work practices and standard precautions with required PPE.Cleans and disinfects all hospital surfaces including wall, ceilings, floors, furniture, windows and equipment as assigned.Attend to various random needs of the hospital, its staff and guests.Demonstrate an attention to detail to maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment to all occupants.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cleaning chemicals and the appropriate use and proper dilution methods.Interacts professionally with physicians, patients/family, co-workers and others while maintaining effective communication and good working relationships, representing the organization in a positive and professional manner.Completes designated daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and is alert to cleaning needs of the area.Completes annual education requirements.Maintains patient confidentiality at all timesComplies with all organizational policies and procedures and familiar with hospital emergency plans.Performs similar and related duties as required.
